KOTAMON Locations
Where cards, treasures, and quest items can be found. Specific spawn points are not officially published, so these are directional guides based on official descriptions and achievement text.
The Dump Site
Your main workplace in KOTAMON. This is where you rummage through garbage bags, broken furniture, and discarded containers looking for cards, treasures, and recyclable junk.
The Yard
The area around your base where sorted garbage and recovered items are stored. Several achievements reference cleaning up the yard, suggesting it can be fully cleared.
Recycling Center
Where garbage bags are turned into money and progress. Recycling counts toward several numbered achievements and funds upgrades that let you search longer and carry more.
Cereal Box Spawns
Unopened cereal boxes are a special loot source. The Steam store description explicitly says they can contain super-rare foil cards, and achievements track how many you open.
Upgrade Shop
Spend earned cash on bag size, energy, speed, buzz (scanning range), and other quality-of-life upgrades. Several achievements are tied to buying upgrades.
Hidden Treasure Areas
Scattered throughout the dump and surrounding spaces. These are non-card collectibles such as figurines, audiotapes, and cosplay outfits that feed their own achievement families.
