KOTAMON Hidden Treasure Locations: Figurines, Tapes & Outfits
A guide to KOTAMON's non-card collectibles, where to look for them, and the achievements tied to each treasure family.

Section 02
General search principles
Treasures are usually tucked inside unusual containers, behind or under large trash piles, or in corners of the dump that are not on the main path. Increase your scan range and move methodically rather than sprinting through the center of the map.
Section 03
Collectable figurines
There are 12 figurines in the retail game. Six are fixed map pickups and six come from random trash-pile loot. The achievement tiers track 1 ('Exhibit A'), 5 ('Where Will I Keep It?'), 9 ('A New Hobby'), and all 12 ('I Need a Bigger Shelf'). Each collected figurine can be displayed on your shelf.
Section 04
Fixed figurines 1–3
The first fixed pickup is behind the trash compactor. The second is behind Jenny's office beside a group of tires. The third sits by the left wall of Jenny's garage. These three can be collected without relying on random trash drops.
Section 05
Fixed figurines 4–6
The fourth figurine is hidden behind a trash pile in the middle of the yard and becomes easier to reach after clearing nearby rubbish. The fifth is under the front hood of the truck that has crashed through the fence on the right side of the yard. For the sixth, climb a nearby trash pile, jump to Jenny's office balcony, and continue onto the roof.

Random figurines 7–12
The remaining six figurines do not have fixed coordinates. They appear randomly while searching trash piles, so revisit the dump, clear as many piles as possible, and treat duplicates or dry runs as normal RNG rather than evidence that a map pickup is missing.
Section 07
Audiotapes
Audiotapes have three achievement tiers: 1 ('Push the Tempo!'), 5 ('Retro Party'), and 7 ('Melomaniac'). They look like small cassette or music objects and are often found near discarded electronics or furniture.
Section 08
Cosplay outfits
Cosplay outfits are referenced by 'A Gift for Jenny' (find 1) and 'To Be Continued…' (find 3). These are larger or more colorful items, possibly in Wardrobe-style containers or special bags.
Section 09
Unique objects
Some achievements point to one-off finds: 'Wow, It Works?' requires turning on the radio, and 'Get 'em All!' involves obtaining Kotalion. These are likely tied to specific locations or quest milestones rather than random spawns.
Section 10
Plan one fixed-pickup sweep
Handle the six reported fixed figurines as a route rather than six disconnected searches. Begin around the compactor and Jenny's buildings, check the tire and garage-wall areas, then clear enough of the central yard to inspect the concealed pickup. Finish near the crashed truck and the climb toward the office roof. Geometry and access can change between builds, so use these landmarks as orientation, not pixel-perfect coordinates. If a pickup is absent, confirm that it was not already placed on the display shelf before repeating the route.
Section 11
Treat random finds as a separate phase
After the fixed sweep, the remaining figurines should be tracked as trash-pile finds. Mixing both phases creates the common impression that a seventh fixed location is missing. Clear full deliveries, record the collection total between runs, and avoid restarting a save merely because several piles produce no figurine. A post-release developer update increased the chance of collectible figurines and cosplay cases, which also means older walkthrough expectations may no longer describe the current pace accurately.
Section 12
Avoid destroying a valuable collectible
Keep figurines, tapes, outfits, and unusual objects away from routine compactor bags until they are identified. The launch balance update says a valuable collectible thrown into the grinder can be picked up again, but recovery is a safety net rather than the preferred storage method. Check whether the object appears on a shelf or advances its Steam achievement, then continue the route. If it disappears, capture the location and build version before reloading so a report contains more than a missing final count.
Section 13
How to verify completion
Use three signals together: the physical display or inventory, the relevant Steam achievement, and a manual checklist. Steam confirms milestones at one, five, nine, and twelve figurines; one, five, and seven audiotapes; and one and three cosplay outfits. A delayed achievement does not automatically mean the item failed to save, because launch updates addressed achievement bugs. Restart Steam once, check the current developer notes, and report the exact collection count before attempting any destructive save workaround.
