Unopened cereal boxes are the only source explicitly tied to foil cards in official marketing. The 'Just Don't Eat It!' achievement confirms that opening a cereal box is a normal game action, while 'Gacha Addiction' tracks opening ten boxes. Save any cereal boxes you find and open them before selling large card batches.

Can foil cards drop from regular garbage?
Public sources have not confirmed a card-by-card foil checklist or guaranteed garbage drops for foils. Until official evidence appears, treat cereal boxes as the highest-confidence foil source and regular rummaging as a possible secondary source.

Identifying a foil copy
Identify a foil from the current card presentation and binder state rather than from conventions in other trading-card games. The sources used here confirm a foil category and foil achievements but do not define a universal border, icon, or animation. A foil hunt stopping rule
Decide the goal before opening boxes: one achievement milestone, one missing set foil, or a fixed number of complete deliveries. Stop when that goal or limit is reached, update the tracker, and compare progress before spending more cash. This avoids treating an unknown probability as a promise that the next box must pay out. A stopping rule also keeps economy and collection decisions visible when late-game boxes compete with upgrades or cash achievements.
